In-Situ Resource Utilization Control System
(Sabatier & RWGS Reactor)
In-Situ Project Hosting
Without a doubt the most important part of human exploration of the solar system is the ability to live off the land. The Sabatier process is 1800's technology that has been proven to work. It's an exothermic process with a high forward equilibrium. Because this reactor processes carbon dioxide its applications are not limited to space. The conversion of waste carbon dioxide into profitable methane, can increase factory profits and decrease green house gases. Going green should be profitable!
►This project will develop a polished working human interface (10/GUI, compatible with gloved astronauts),
space worthy electronics and reactor hardware interfaces, along with a hardware prototype of reactor.
► Compete in the Mars In-Situ Resource Utilization Challenge, hosted by Explore Mars Inc.
